In this biological accident, I have become a distracted social observer, using abstract documentary photography as both an entry point and an alibi across continents and ways of life not my own. The work carries no weight of legacy. It exists as a byproduct of contact with people, systems, and the inherited structures that shape and confine us.These images do not offer resolution. They ask whether you have recognized your own accidental origin, whether you can see the distance between the life you perform and the one you inhabit. What remains is an awareness of impermanence, a constant movement toward an end we cannot avoid.Though I am absent from the frame, and my understanding of this practice has undergone its own evolution over time, I am not separate from it. Throughout it all, I have learned only one thing. I am subject to the same conditions, the same illusions, and I am not spared from these passing shadows.
